At the end of 2020, Apic turned 7,500 euros collected in donations to the Italian Colangiocarcinoma Group (GICo), which brings together most of the Italian researchers working on cholangiocarcinoma.  Giovanni Brandi, of the University of Bologna, one of the founding members of Apic, after five years as President of the GICo passed his hand to Leonardo Fornaro, manager of the Pisan University Hospital.  On the same occasion, the Governing Council of the GICo was renewed as announced by La Gazzetta del Mezzogiorno of 31 December.
